Born October 3rd 1973 Timm Tantrum is the singer and guitarist for both the bands Snake City Playboys and Psycho Gypsy. Timm Started in music at the age of 15 after receiving his first guitar for Christmas. By the age of 16 he was playing in his first band called Widdow with Eddie Electra (Pretty Boy Floyd/Peppermint Creeps) with what would become a longtime friendship.

 

After Widdow Timm went on to other bands such as Crimson Steel and Mischief which would put Tantrum into his first experience in real music venues. Although starting out on smaller venues, those venues tended to get more and more crowded as time went on. Later Tantrum would re unite with Electra to form the now infamous and notorious Psycho Gypsy.

 

Psycho Gypsy dominated the Arizona music scene and later took on the LA scene during a time when grunge and alternative ruled the airwaves. This played to Psycho Gypsy to Psycho Gypsy's advantage since all the fans of Hard Rock and Glam only had one band to go see. This solidified their status as one of the heroes of the Glam Rock genre.  Psycho Gypsy sold their music to almost every major country in the world and performed between 1994 and 2000 when the band would go their separate ways with Eddie Electra going on to success with Pretty Boy Floyd and LA's craziest act Peppermint Creeps featuring the late Traci Michaelz (RIP).

 

Tantrum during this time left the spotlight for a number of years until reemerging in 2007 re uniting with Eddie Electra for a Psycho Gypsy reunion. Timm Tantrum emerged again in 2011 with a new project called Snake City Playboys.

 

Snake City Playboys has since gone on to repeat much of Psycho Gypsy's success selling albums all over the world and sharing the stage with the likes of Faster Pussycat, Mr Big, Y&T, Lizzy Borden and others. The band also played the enourmous Fiesta Bowl New Years Eve Block Party 2011/2012.  The band's current lineup consists of new drummer Bill Jackson who has been described as "A monster on the drums".  Also featured is Jay Sin who is no stranger to the scene being the grandson of country music legend Jimmy Wakely. A star in his own right Jay has made quite a name for himself within the Playboys. Lastly on guitar is Timm Tantrums only son known as Ace Adonis who has become a fan favorite. Timm Tantrum has had a long fun career and has no intent on slowing down anytime soon. This story is nowhere near being over.
