ARIZONA'S OWN BAD BOYZ OF ORIGINAL HARD ROCK
-
Jay Sin comes from a prominent entertainment family who's grandfather is the late JIMMY WAKEY (The Singing Cowboy) who was both in movies and the music industry. Born in Los Angeles and raised all over the San Fernando Valley, he had grown to love the music side. He has work with many musicians from being a guitar/bass tech, drum tech, session musician, engineer, or personal security for some of the following:
Jimmy Wakely, James Burton and Jeff Burton, Marc Ferrari ( Wayne’s World, Medicine Wheel ), Paul Sabu (Insomnia, Sabu), Dave “The Beast” Spitz ( Black Sabbath, Great White, Insomina ), Lance Bulen ( Baton Rouge, Insomnia, King Baby ), Frankie Valli, Jeff Poole ( Legs Diamond, Stars n Bars ), Nicky Ford ( Ted Nugent, Stars n Bars ), Robbie Crane ( Vince Neil, Ratt ), Anthony Foxc ( Wayne’s World, Beautiful Creatures ) ,The Atomic Punks, Guns n’ Roses and Lance Eric (Bang Tango).
Jay Sin left California back in the summer of 94’ and headed to Arizona to start a new life. He has been in a few cover bands in Phoenix off and on from 2003 to 2005 and then took a break. Back in August of 2010 he started getting the itch again. Jay started jamming with Wisker Biskit, Lit Up, Rock Addix, Too Fast for Love, Trainwreck and Public Enemy #1 just to name a few. Then in 2011 he became the technician for Snake City Playboys headed by Timm Tantrumm from Pyscho Gypsy. In 2012 Jay became the new bass player and the relationship between him and Timm just clicked. Its like Gene and Paul from Kiss...UNREAL.
When you see him play, you can really see the passion as he picks, strums, pounds or licks the strings….yes, he uses his tongue. Once he gets in the zone of a particular tune, it’s a sight to see…HE OWNS THE STAGE!
